About Me

My photo
Nakabuye Hilda Flavia
I am Nakabuye Hilda Flavia a Ugandan climate activist, striker and organizer at Fridays For Future – Uganda (it is a youth and student led platform that was initiated by 16 year old Greta Thunberg to protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis), I love nature and every Friday I miss my lectures to strike for a safe environment through which I rally government, corporate organizations and communities to take climate action. I mobilize youths and students to join us so as we make a collective voice that can get our governments to action. I founded the Climate Striker Diaries to also create digital awareness about climate change. As a way of adding action to my work, I engage In a lake shore clean up activity on major landing sites every week to preserve and beat plastic pollution on our water resources. I am a Green Campaigner at Green Climate Campaign Africa, a student at Kampala International University pursuing a bachelors degree in Procurement and supply chain management as well as taken several learning programs in Climate Change, Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship.
